Traditional product development and industrial design endeavors are often feature driven which by definition is narrow in scope. Designing for Experience incorporates a broad and unbiased exploration of use scenarios, customer behaviors and uncovers new opportunities for innovation. The results of a methodology rooted in Design for Experience principles can create category defining products and services that are difficult for competitors to replicate.
Sneak Peak | SnapStands
Tangram has recently collaborated with SnapStands Interactive on the next generation design of their interactive digital photo kiosk.
The system is based on SnapStand’s innovative software application for capturing event photos on-site and sharing them in real-time via social media. Tangram redesigned the enclosure for the kiosk developing a new system that improved overall user-experience, manufacturing, and reduced transportation costs.
